We had a lot of snow last night (at least a foot with 30 mph winds and no visability). It never really looked like it was dark outside last night because of all the snow in the air. I had a laughing fit about midnight because I knew that there was no way that I would get out this morning. And I was right. My roommate barely got out and he has a four wheel drive truck. So no going anywhere and the roads aren't plowed. Eventually I will have to go out and shovel the driveway again so I can hopefully get out tomorrow.

Why are there never any people in towns in rpgs? I mean how do they keep their population at a viable level?

I'm not really enjoying Zelda: Wind Waker for the gamecube. Way, way, way too much sailing from island to tiny island so I can do things and finish this game and never play it again. I can see why I stopped playing it the first time. I want to go play Ocarina of Time again. I love that game even if I have it completely memorized.

I have just found one of the best authors ever.  Really good writing, engaging story, interesting OCs, just everything.  I totally went and spent all day reading everything that was on her website.  Her name is Keira Marcos and she writes SG-1 and SGA and Sentinel.  And the funny thing is I found her totally by accident.  A link to a page of her website is here.  There's a really nice navigation bar on the right side.

Anyone have any good recs for Sheppard/Ronon?  I realize it's going to be rarer b/c Sheppard/McKay is the main slash pairing, but it don't have any like to other archives besides Area 52.  Thanks in advance.

I ended up talking to the instructor yesterday and it was not weird or awkward at all.  She recognized that she had pushed us too hard on Tuesday.  So it was good.  I don't know why I get so wound up about small things like that.  Since it really wasn't that big of a deal.

As a consequence of uber workout Tues and double workout Wed I was completely and utterly sore all over today.  Which made working difficult when moving my arms in any direction makes them hurt.  Hopefully by the time I go to workout tomorrow, they'll feel better. 

Tomorrow's looking to be a stressful day, but I'm taking Monday off as vacation.  It's a federal holiday and since I need a delivery of fresh blood (mhaw-haha....kidding) to do my job, I can't set anything up.  Plus I needed to burn some vacation anyway and what better time to do it when I won't have any work to do.

I'm done with CSI (all three).  I still want to like it and I like reading fanfic about it, but the writers and storylines have totally killed any interest in it.  I don't look forward to it.  I turned it off in the middle.  I'm done.  TV wise I'm mostly watching reality shows and playing video games.

Other news:  I'm hoping to take a pottery class in November.  And I'm going to see a couple of shows, which reminds me that I need to buy RENT tickets this weekend.  I haven't seen it live in two years and I'm not going to miss it.  I decided since I live in a college town I should take advantage of some of the amenities. 

My cousin is getting married at the end of the month in KC.  I still need to get them a wedding gift and figure out my route down there. 

Otherwise mostly just RL.  And a few new fandoms.

I've been gone for a while.  It's a combination of RL and picking up a few too many fandoms.  It got to the point where something had to go and live journal and insane journal were it.  Especially insane journal I haven't updated that one in forever.  I don't want my fun time to be stressful.  Very overloaded. :(

I've been growing tomatoes and peppers out on the patio.  So far every plant has stuff on it, but everything is still pretty unripe.  But I'll probably have and overload of fruit in a month.  I'm so looking forward to good tasting tomatoes. 

I've been to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen twice in a week because it was so good.  I'm kinda interested in seeing the GI Joe movie too now.  I hope the other campy 80's cartoon gets the same treatment as the first transformers movie.

Today I bought a couch.  Our current couch, well loveseat, is a hand-me-down from my aunt and uncle.  I've seen it in pictures when my cousins were ten or so.  So it's 10 to 15 years old and sagging and breaking and I just couldn't stand it any more.  So I made my 3rd adult furniture purchase.  The new couch is tan and about 2 ft wider than the current one.  I have to rearrange the living room in order to make it fit.  But I'm happy .  Hopefully I can replace more of the other old furniture in my house slowly over the next year or so.

I've been gone for along time.  Been absent from here mostly because I got overwhelmed on fandoms and had to drop something.  Life's be going along.  Trying out some new things- some habits are sticking some aren't.  Watched out for my sister this weekend while my parents were out of town.  I need to go downstairs and at least run one load of laundry before tomorrow.  And I need to make a salad for our get together at work tomorrow.  Three crazy-busy days and then a really nice four day weekend.  Yay!
